The Max Gaebler Scholarship Fund began in 1988 and was named for the then retiring minister, Rev. Max Gaebler.  Rev. Gaebler served as minister of the First Unitarian Society Church for over 35 years and was instrumental in the founding and development of Meeting House Nursery School.

The Connie Johnson Scholarship fund began in 2007 in recognition of our teacher Connie for her 30 years of service to the school.

The school budgets $6,000 towards scholarships annually.

The First Unitarian Society also provides an annual scholarship donation in honor of Margaret Huskins.

Interested parents should call the office for more information and an application form.

Parent Assistantships

Ten parent helper positions are available in the 2014-2015 school year.  Participating parents can receive a tuition reduction of $75.00 per month in exchange for working at school one part-day per week.  Responsibilities include preparation and distribution of snacks, clean-up of art and other project materials, and assistance to the school as needed.  Parent helper positions may be shared, and we also have need for occasional substitute helpers.  More information and application forms are available at the school office.
