“Mouse Paint” Project

Posted on Apr 24, 2012

Start by reading and enjoying the book “Mouse Paint” by Ellen Stoll Walsh with your child.  Then put XS rubber gloves on your child’s hands.  Set up white paper and finger paint for your child in primary colors (red, yellow and blue).

Just like the mice in the book, your child can explore the colors and what happens when they are mixed. The rubber gloves add a fun texture and feel to their little fingers (and they also make clean-up easy!).
