January 22, 2012: Enrollment Open House 3:00-4:30--Registration packets available.
February 1, 2012: Registration forms due. After February 1st remaining openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

MMSD 4K

Meeting House is a contracted 4K site for the Madison Metro School District. Families must register with Meeting House and MMSD in order to be registered in 4K. Children attending MMSD 4K will not be charged tuition for the 2 ½ hour 4K program. Extended programs are available for 4K children and are charged tuition.

Registration and Enrollment Information

Meeting House Nursery School, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, handicap, gender, physical condition, developmental disability, sexual orientation, or national origin against any enrolled child or family or any child applying for enrollment.

Meeting House Nursery School is licensed to serve 74 children ages 2-6 years.

All children's records are confidential and available upon request to parents/guardians.

Parents receive a copy of the brochure "Your Guide to Licensed Childcare" which is a summary of licensing rules and regulations. A copy of DCF 251 (Licensing Rules for Group Day Care Centers) is available in the office for parents to review. A Family Handbook which contains relevant policies and procedures is available on-line to current families.

Registration for the 9 ½ month academic year and the summer school sessions will be done concurrently. Parents/guardians sign a 9 ½ month contract for enrollment. Registration materials are available in January. Forms are due in early February.

Currently enrolled children shall be placed in the program first in accordance with our admission policy priority list.

Enrollment for new families is based on the Registration Mailing List which begins on the first working day of October of the year prior to beginning school. Parents may call the school beginning at 9:00 a.m. on that day and place their child on the list. Families on the Registration Mailing List are prioritized by the date they placed their name on the list.

Children are placed in classes based on chronological age.

Children must be 2 years of age by September 1st of the enrolling year to be eligible for enrollment.

A non-refundable $75 registration fee is due at the time forms are submitted for consideration. Families will receive a letter of confirmation when the registration process is completed and a space has been secured for the child. A non-refundable, one-month tuition deposit is due within 10 days of receipt of the confirmation to hold the place for the child. This deposit will be applied to the June tuition of the following year.

Meeting House Nursery School is a part-day nursery school that serves children ages 2-6 years old.
